The rope scene in Los Angeles is one community on paper and four or five in practice, sorted by which side of the traffic people are willing to sit in. Dating across that line means a partner you see on a schedule rather than on a whim, and couples here plan a rope evening the way other people plan a weekend away. It also means two people can be part of the same scene for years and never meet, so the reassurance of a shared room is often simply not available.

Posts come from the Westside, the Valley, downtown, the South Bay and the east side. People lead with their side of the city because a rope evening has to survive the journey home.

Nothing here is for hire either. Nobody is selling a session, a tie or an hour, and a post that tries comes off the same day.

Everything else stays up for forty-five days and then comes down, because a rope partner found in April should not still be advertised in July. If a post reads wrong to you, there is a flag on it, and pulling that is better than writing back. Posting and answering both run through your own account rather than this page.
