I handle bodies all day and would rather this not feel like work

My working day is spent with my hands on people who are in some degree of pain, being extremely careful about it, and writing it all down afterwards. What I did not anticipate when I came to rope four years ago was how often the two would collide, and how much I would come to resent being asked across a tea table what I thought about somebody's elbow.
I do not answer those questions. Not out of rudeness. It is that the moment I do, I am at work, and I have then spent my one free evening of the week doing the job I came out to stop doing.
Twenty nine, north of the river, four years in and moving between both ends of it depending on the month. What I want from a partner is the ordinary thing: somebody who talks to me about their week, who does not treat me as a resource, and with whom an evening is just an evening.
The reason I am a switch, as far as I can tell, is that I spend all day being the responsible one and about half of me wants to keep doing that and half of me very much does not. I have stopped trying to resolve that into a single answer.
Not looking for anybody who wants a professional opinion, ever, in any setting. Not looking for someone who needs me to be the sensible one in the relationship as well. And not looking for anything on a Sunday night, because Monday starts early and I am dull about sleep.
