A year and a half in, and I would rather learn beside somebody

Everybody I have met so far is either ten years ahead of me or three months behind, and both of those turn into a lesson within about half an hour. I have had my fill of evenings where one of us is being generous and neither of us is enjoying it.
Twenty six, east London, eighteen months in. Good enough to be safe and boring, nowhere near good enough to be interesting, and quite content with that for now. What I would like is somebody at a similar stage, at the other end of the rope, so that we can both be visibly mediocre in front of each other without anybody having to manage anybody's ego.
The reason I want that specifically is that I have noticed how much I stop asking questions when the other person clearly knows more. It is not pride, it is politeness, and it is useless. With somebody in the same position I ask everything, and so do they, and we get somewhere.
I would like it to be a relationship rather than a study group. I want to know how your day was. I want this to be one of the things we do rather than the reason we see each other.
Not looking for anybody who wants me to teach them. Not looking for somebody who wants to be taught by somebody better and will settle for me. And not looking for anything that has to be assessed by other people, because I would like at least one part of my life that is not being marked.
