My wife does not tie, and the hallway is losing a slow war

There is a cupboard in our hallway that was intended for coats. It has not held a coat since roughly the third year. Last spring the overflow reached a shelf in the spare room, and my wife pointed at it quite mildly and said she was fine with all of it and would like the hallway back, and both halves of that sentence were true.
Twelve years together, out west, and she has never had the slightest interest. Not hostile, not curious. She asks how the evening went the way I ask about her Thursdays. There is no tension in it and I want to say that clearly, because people assume otherwise before I have finished the sentence.
Forty, sixteen years of rope. What I am looking for is a partner in this, ongoing, with all of the above understood from the beginning. She knows I am posting. She read this before it went up and suggested the line about the cupboard.
I would like one person, twice a week when the week allows it, over years rather than a season.
Not looking for somebody who wants to be hidden, because my wife knows and that is not up for negotiation. Not looking for somebody who wants to meet her, which she would find baffling. And not looking for anybody expecting to be my whole life, since a good part of it is already spoken for.
