I was wandering around Walmart tonight hunting for Jenny’s sewing cloth clamps (couldn’t find them) but what I did spot near the rope section was a clothesline tightener. Whopping $3.99. It resembles a chrome duck call, yet inside it holds 3 ball bearings that hold onto 1/4” rope. It allows the line to pass through in just one direction. Haven’t tested it yet but looks promising.
