New lock style for my belt

My Tollyboy belt is showing some wear on the lock. Before it jams up and leaves me stuck, I’d like to swap in a replacement Lock. I’ve emailed Tollyboy to see if he can assist, but meanwhile I’ve devised a workable solution: you won’t need the key when fastening the belt, though you will use that special key to unfasten it. If anyone nearby works with metal and is open to collaborating on this new lock style (and other ideas we might come up with), so we can test them together, I’d love to connect.
