Nearly Spotted by the Maid

I had this happen yesterday. While on vacation and with some spare time in the morning, I decided to apply tape to my wrists and mouth. Just as I was relaxing, a maid who spoke Spanish knocked at the door. I quickly hid in the bathroom before she entered. Because she didn’t know English, I couldn’t have explained what was going on if she had seen me. After loosening my gag slightly, I called out that I was inside, prompting her to leave. A short while later, I managed to free myself completely. It was a narrow escape.
