Request for a Remotely Controlled Vibration Controller

Hi all. I’m posting a request today: either point me toward an application I might have overlooked, or let someone who’d like to take it on give it a go. Here’s the situation: As you likely know, many Video Game Controlers come with rumblepacks that produce vibrations. Most of them can connect to your PC via USB. Personally, I own both an xbox and a PS3 controler. What I’m looking for is software that lets me repurpose these devices as types of vibrators, specifically one where someone online (using client-side software if necessary) can remotely operate the vibrator. I have some programming background, so it doesn’t seem out of reach, but my knowledge of controller input handling and networked communication isn’t deep enough for me to build this myself just yet. Please note that a basic, vanilla program is perfectly acceptable. Additional features like webcam integration are not required. Thanks in advance if anyone can assist.
