I’m hunting for that metal post shown in the image. I’m not quite certain of its name or where to purchase it, but once I track down a source, I have several ideas on how to utilize it. Thanks

It's the peg that serves as the anchor for the lock.

Hi, I'm not sure of a supplier for those metallic components (whatever their name is), but you can simply thread the padlock through two holes in the belts if they are sufficiently large. It’s even less hassle—admittedly, maybe not as elegant as the example pictured.
