Since self-bondage is clearly an activity done alone, when you tie yourself up, you play the roles of both Dominant and submissive. But how does this fit with your perspective on your own identity along the Dominant-submissive spectrum? I am simplifying things here: a Dominant person takes control in a relationship or scene, while a submissive one gives it up. A switch feels comfortable stepping into either role. If you lack “real-life” experience with a Dominant/submissive dynamic, please select the final option, but still answer as if you were anticipating how it would feel.
