I hope I haven’t posted this in the wrong section, but it felt like the right fit… Anyway, I have a question regarding nipple clamps, specifically wooden clothespins. Is there much risk of damaging tissue or nerves with them? A few months back, I experimented with attaching clothes pins to my breasts… I repeated this process several times. Afterwards, my nipples were quite sensitive, sometimes stinging for the rest of the day, but nothing severe and seemingly temporary. On perhaps the third occasion, while that previous night’s stinging was still lingering (it had lasted all day), I applied another clamp. Months later, however, my breast/nipple area is still hurting. There is a persistent sharp or dull ache in my nipple and lower breast region; its intensity fluctuates without any clear pattern, but these “cycles” last roughly 3-6 weeks if I were to guess. Besides this constant pain, the nipple itself becomes extremely touch-sensitive (uncomfortably so). At peak sensitivity, even the fabric of my shirt brushing against it makes me wince. I don’t believe I was being particularly reckless; I’d say I left them on for no more than 30 minutes, which wasn’t even typical since I only did this three times. No blood was drawn and there were no obvious bruises. Honestly, I can’t tell if there’s any swelling, but it would be minor if so. For what it’s worth, I’ve never been pregnant and am fairly young (in my 20s). I realize this isn’t strictly a health forum, but I’m quite worried and haven’t found answers by searching online, nor do I know what to do for an injury like this. It seems no one else mentions experiencing similar issues. I plan to consult my doctor, but I’d appreciate advice from anyone with relevant experience or knowledge.
Hello and welcome, Increased sensitivity after removing nipple clamps is normal, whether they are clover-style or clothespins. I can confirm this—sometimes for a whole day my nipples feel particularly sensitive, to the point of noticing even the smoothest bra fabric texture. Occasional stinging may also occur, especially in the first few hours. What you did isn't inherently dangerous and your method was correct. Thirty minutes is a reasonable duration, and I too have never heard of anyone getting injured this way by nipple clamps. To cause actual injury, the pressure usually needs to be much higher. If your nipples remain sore and sensitive for weeks afterward, it might indicate an underlying issue that the clamps helped reveal, which should be evaluated. Who knows what else might be lurking beneath unnoticed? See your doctor soon, and don't hesitate to discuss your "alternative" sex life openly. You can even seek a second opinion if needed—you are in control of your health, and the doctor is there to support your decisions. Just to put things in perspective, looking healthy doesn't always guarantee good health. One can be generally fit and care meticulously for oneself yet still have a silent problem that could disrupt life significantly. I experienced this firsthand last summer. To repeat: see your doctor and get a thorough checkup. It might uncover a potential issue that could surface five, ten, or twenty years from now. Jenny.
To offer another perspective, I agree with everything my fellow Moderator said; don't panic but do go see your Doctor. Nipple clamps of almost any type, and I have considerable experience:shock: used as you describe will not cause long-term harm, with effects typically fading within hours rather than days. Like Jenny, I've felt the after-effects the next day, though this usually happens when clover clumps are removed and reapplied several times during a scene along with other nipple abuse (not that I'm complaining!).
From one clothes pin wearer to the next... (and this is from a male perspecitive, so....) Welcome, I have worn them for years, but not **for** years...;) I may play for 1 to 2 hours, or so, but the clamps are not on for the entire time... I do alot of "put them on, take them off" type of thing... They will be sensitive at first, but you can and will get acoustom to them over time... Well, somewhat, but I find that the pins only hurt (well, mostly anyways) when you put them on and take them off... But like it has already been said... If you are woried, have someone fondle them... Sorry, I mean, have a doctor check them out...
I too have used clover clamps quite alot. Like 15-30 minutes on, some (painful) massage and session with clamps might continue again. I am male and i am aware that female have larger and more sensitive nipples, to make the treatment harsher for them than me. It is possible the pain comes up randomly up to 3 days or so on the hardest nipple abuse cases, but i would be worried aswell if it goes on over 2 weeks. Something that i have to deal with, is that without good massage or something, there can become dark skin on top of the nipples, where pressure was. It can be peeled off in a shower about 3 weeks later, to reveal the healed skin underneath... I don't really know of possible blood "bulps" that use of nipple clamp might send to internal body, theoretically maybe possible. There's just propably no evidence of such cases.
Thank you all for your kind words. I feel less worried now.
