The shop sent him a replacement while letting him keep the first one, which suggests they do care about their customers. Also worth noting is that the shop mostly sells affordable Chinese copies; much of this stock can be found on sites like eBay, often at even better prices. That said, the flat-rate shipping option looks quite appealing.
