Gag Mask Creation

Hello everyone. I’ve long desired to own a Scolds mask gag trainer (that beautiful blue one, if you recall…). Since it’s no longer sold in stores, I started wondering how to craft my own version. First, I stuffed something into my mouth using an old sock. Next, I placed two layers of stockings over my head. I had cut numerous strips of duct tape, roughly 20cm each, and selected the red variety. Then, I wrapped these pieces around my head to form the mask shape: circling under the nose and across the mouth, extending back to the crown, securing tightly below the chin, and encircling the neck. I applied about five layers of tape; this combination keeps the structure flexible yet durable. This method yields a disposable gag mask. However, I used a sharp knife (scissors were safer but too dull) to slice open the rear section. That is why I wore two stocking layers: the outer one adheres to the tape and gets cut away, while the inner layer protects my hair from being caught or severed. Once the main body of the mask was formed, I trimmed off excess stocking material from the edges, reinforced them with additional tape, and added extra wrapping (around three layers) at the ends where laces will attach. Finally, I punched four holes in each rear corner and threaded the lace through. Now I possess my own gag mask. It functions as intended, although the laces are somewhat unstable and prone to tearing. It can certainly serve as a template for future productions, such as a leather version which is my next goal.
