DVR Reminder: A Worthwhile BDSM Documentary

Documentaries focused on our lifestyle usually scare me because they tend to be so critical. But this one feels like it might break that pattern. A friend of mine, who is a couples sex therapist and has previously worked with Lisa Ling on documentaries (with good results), appears in this film.

I’m recording and saving this episode because if I ever need to explain our lifestyle to a vanilla person who doesn’t quite “get it,” this should help. The goal isn’t necessarily for everyone to love what we do, but rather to understand why others enjoy it. Let’s hope they nail the portrayal—it could be really useful when you’re caught out and have to justify yourself.
