Methods for Controlling Equipment via Arduino Hardware and Programs

Hi everyone! I’m looking forward to hearing some solid suggestions.

I’ve hit a bit of a snag while planning teases for my sessions. Lots of the software out there can connect with an Arduino board to deliver small, programmed teasing effects. Getting both the hardware and the software up and running is pretty straightforward, but I’m struggling to work out how to actually toggle devices on and off—or even switch their modes—while a session is underway.

My main concern is doing this without making major modifications to the toys themselves; I want them to remain usable for regular partner play. So what’s the best approach? I’m open to general inspiration, but specific project plans would be wonderful:D

Here are the items I need to control: Corded Anal Vibe Wireless Adonis Pouch Corded Wand Massager (or Rechargeable if you have a strong recommendation) 2-Channel E-Stim Box (I don’t own one yet; leaning toward an Erosteck 312B, but other models are fine too) As for my Arduino setup: Arduino Leonardo Board Battery backup unit i-cubeX Sensor Shield (offers a huge range of compatible sensors) (I haven’t bought any sensors or actuators just yet. I felt it was premature to get them until this control issue is resolved.) I don’t mind swapping out bullet vibes entirely; replacements are cheap enough that cost isn’t a worry. However, with a wand massager and an E-stim box, I need a reliable method for pressing buttons and turning knobs without altering the equipment itself.

Feel free to recommend any sensors, actuators, shield boards, or other components you think would work. Price is no object; I’d rather spend more on reliability and safety than save a few dollars.
