Pleaser Heel Fixing

Hello, has anyone of you tried to repair heel caps (especially those made by pleaser usa)? The caps of my heels are really at the end of their lifetime, so I’d like to replace them. But after removing the plastic, the metal pin that connects the cap and the heel won’t go out. I wonder if I just don’t pull hard enough (but I already damaged the metal pin), or if they maybe don’t use the same system as you can see on all diy-sites on the internet. Any ideas/experiences?
