Leotarding On Vacation: My Initial Experience With a Tank Suit

My girlfriend and I were on vacation; we had checked into a hotel with an attached water park. And it was a monster, larger and longer than anything I had ever seen. But, like with roller coaster fanatics, we had to try it out.

I teased her for being old-fashioned by wearing a one-piece tank suit rather than a more fashionable two-piece. I was wearing my usual trunks; I had lost some weight but thought they were secure. The slide was different from others we had experienced in that at the end, rather than dump you out into a pool, this one went up and then dropped you ten feet into the pool. And then the water kept going down into a lower pool.

I went off the slide and even though I had been doing down feet-first, I ended up head-first into the pool. And my trunks slipped off! Not only that, I saw them disappear down the rapids into the lower pool and then through the grate into the drain. My girlfriend laughed and then, only after making me promise to allow her to select my replacement suit, brought a large towel over to let me exit the pool.

The next day we moved on towards our destination and when we went through Cincinnati, she stopped us at a dancewear shop she had found on the internet. She asked the clerk about a boy-leg tank leotard in extra-large; they had more than one color. I decided red was too flashy but navy blue was good. I tried it on in the shop and got approval from the g.f., though she did suggest that even though I had a small package, I should wear something underneath the leotard. And since we were right there, she bought me a pair of dance trunks.

When we got to the next motel, I looked at myself in the mirror before going out to the pool. I admit that I did look sharp! Sure, I got a few stares but sure better than what losing my suit would have produced! The g.f. and I are no longer together but the leotard and I are. I love the security it gives when swimming.
