I’m sharing a true story hoping it helps me heal some mental wounds. Also, if you can manage, AVOID practicing self-bondage (SB). I still do it, and I feel embarrassed by it. It’s foolish. If I could, I’d quit. I despise it. I have never done SB again without my proper ice lock. And PLEASE don’t read this thinking the experience was hot. It wasn’t, and that isn’t what I’m trying to say here. Years ago in university halls, I was foolish enough to try this one method. It scarred me for life (mentally AND physically), and it’s only recently I’ve gathered the courage to speak about it. The result was total helplessness: bleeding from my thighs, wrists, and waist due to struggling with knives and scissors, plus face and back carpet burns. I screamed for anyone who would listen. Thank goodness I had left the window open. Also thank goodness I managed to push out the ball gag. Further fallout included being thrown out of university by security escorts, and having to explain what happened to my girlfriend. She still doesn’t know the truth today, and I hope she never does. Fortunately, I secured a place at another university so I’m only one year behind schedule. Oh, and I received an invoice for a new carpet after blood staining it, plus charges for door repairs because security kicked it in. I also paid to stay at a local hotel since it was around 11pm. University staff wanted police involvement as they didn’t believe my claim that nobody else was involved. I couldn’t look them in the eye, and when discovered, I kept my eyes shut until left alone again. I was just about to flee when the course leader arrived and told me to withdraw from the course. It was the strictest hogtie ever, even tighter than when my girlfriend ties me up. I read instructions on a forum years ago but can’t recall which one; if it’s your tie method, apologies. Basically, I tied ankles and knees, knelt down, then threaded two cords with loops at each end from my ankles, between thighs to front, around crotch and outside waist. I used the loop ends to create slipknots. Crossed arms behind back, slipped right hand into left slipknot, vice-versa. What I didn’t realize was how tight this would pull upon tipping over. Straightening body cinched wrist knots, pulling arms so tightly crossed that elbows nearly touched. No need for extra elbow bondage as I thought. Feet pinned to arse, arms stretched wildly. By the way, no cinch noose used, just basic slipknots. Nothing more needed; there was NO WAY these were loosening. Initially loved it, didn’t use any timer etc., kept knives and scissors nearby so obviously could cut bonds when done. Good luck with that. Undoing knots is impossible because they slide away in front due to being slipknots. Couldn’t cut bonds as couldn’t reach ropes; only the waist rope was accessible but buried into skin, causing scissors to just slice me without squeezing properly. Knife wouldn’t fit under it either. With wrists pinned to waist, ankles are unreachable, so basically I was done for. Tried and struggled repeatedly. When blood poured out and feeling left my wrists, yelled for help. Part of me wished death had come then, but having a girlfriend makes the selfishness even greater. I am actually sick enough to continue this tie method now. Though I use my ice lock on one ankle-to-wrist cord so always have at least one hand free. Never succeeded in escaping before ice melts though. Trial and error sets it up well. If lengths from ankles to wrists are too long, moving feet to arse allows hands some slack. Enough slack means reaching other hand lets you loosen slipknot and remove that hand. Still not easy mind. Also using proper cinch noose won’t help if reaching the other hand; hands likely go purple. Trick to getting length right is kneeling while sitting on feet. Should just manage inserting crossed arms into slipknots with a struggle. Rolling flat pulls everything incredibly tight. Can’t return to kneeling position, all ropes snug against skin, so you’re stuck forever. Incredibly simple and effective.
