Seeking advice on masquerade attire

Hello, I haven’t posted here before, but I wanted to get your thoughts. Crossdressing has been part of my life for a while. A friend is throwing a masquerade party next weekend and I see it as the perfect chance to wear women’s clothes in public without drawing too much notice. My current plan involves a black PVC skirt with a matching top, along with either black leggings paired with high heels or boots. Does this sound like a good idea? Should I show up dressed this way? I’m curious if my friends will actually spot it and wonder whether these are truly feminine garments that belong to me personally. Alternatively, I hesitate because going out in public as a woman has always been daunting for me, even though I’ve wanted to do it for some time.
