Securing Heeled Shoes to Feet

Since I’m in the UK, that’s where I need to source my help. I am exploring methods for securing heeled shoes to my feet. The issue is finding a chain that isn’t too large or heavy. Each foot will have a 24-inch length of chain, and at the crossover point, a small padlock will be secured into the links to prevent any escaping. However, the only chains I’ve found feature half-inch links which make them somewhat bulky.
