this is how half my fetlife messages turn out

this happened to me once more today. I am interested in hearing how others have fared with this. here are two exchanges that people often initiate with me. between these two patterns, half of the messages I receive resemble them closely. The remaining fifty percent come from folks like myself who wish to offer advice or encouragement. Whenever a new person writes, i click on their name and browse through their profile, status, stance, orientations, and so forth, even before reading the actual message content. It seems some people do exactly the reverse, sending messages without doing the most basic checking of whom they are addressing… type one: the bossy doms For this first case i will be copying and pasting our dialogue, but replacing the other person’s name with a placeholder because I am being polite. The participant in this exchange is now “IAmDomDurr”

I’m [age] from [some place], and a hugely into music and gaming if your interested in getting to know me I hope we can talk more. bobbi86 says: hello ^_^ SteveFace says: what’s up? bobbi86 says: lol, not much. so why were you interested to talk to me what did you have on your mind? SteveFace says: Your sexy and I’m horny lol bobbi86 says: yes, well. your profile says you are straight. unless you are not strictly straight, you might want to check mine again. --- and then SteveFace never returns the message --- now let me show you how hard it is to do the most basic research on a person on fetlife. Image this is my homepage on fetlife. you have to visit this page to send me a message. look at all this interesting info at the top of the page. it states i am 25, and Male. it states i am Heteroflexible. what does that mean? it means while i would only look for female life partners as i do not find men sexual stimulating enough to be married to, but being a submissive crossdresser being dominated and made to do things to a man does not bother me. it also means playing with someone who is just like me, would be enjoyable. it states looking for “mistress” as that is my preference. “master” is another option that i did not select. was that so hard? if you are a straight-and-true male on fetlife it seems like that extra 10 seconds of research would be pretty damn important. do not get me wrong, i actually take these ill-informed messages from people as a compliment that apparently i can trap even the most straight of man. i just wish they would actually take a moment to care about me enough to read the profile before messaging me dumb things.
