Attire and Venturing Out

Hey everyone! I’m curious to know which types of clothing are most favored by crossdressers, and the reasons behind your choices? My usual go-tos are dancewear, swimwear, and catsuits, though I also own a little collection of sulky black underwear. I’ve always tried emulating the attire of the type of woman I’m attracted to—confident, robust, athletic; the quintessential femme fatale in all her variations (with just enough naughty slut energy thrown in). Intimidating goth girls work well for me too! Does anyone else venture out while dressed up? I visit fetish clubs looking my best, but lately I’ve been going to regular nightclubs as well. One time was a rock gig; before I even reached the bar, the staff complimented my walking in those heels! The other outing was at an Essex club where, aside from one idiot, everyone was giving me compliments all evening. I’ve come out publicly about my crossdressing but haven’t quite worked up the courage to mention that I bind myself as well. Has anyone else been open with their friends/family? How did people react?
