I have come up with an apparatus (apologies) that could be very useful in self-bondage, but I need suggestions on what to link it to. There is the “momentary (on)” / “push-to-make” switch and the “momentary (off) / push-to-break” type. Visit and scroll down a bit to find the entries labeled “SPST Momentary”. As described, the “push-to-make” is like a standard doorbell: you press the button, and while it stays pressed, the circuit remains closed so power flows to the noise-making device. When you release the button, the circuit opens and power stops flowing. Silence returns. The “push-to-break” works in reverse: pressing the button turns the connected item off. So I designed this wooden object:
The following components should be securely fastened with screws, angle braces, and so on. Begin with two boards of equal size. The drawing on the left shows the device in its open position, exaggerated for clarity. The top board is supported at the back by two posts sitting atop the bottom board, hinged to those posts. It is supported at the front by shorter posts, topped with either springs or some type of compressible rubber grommets. The switch sits in the middle of these front posts (or anywhere else you prefer), wired into the device it will eventually power, with the button positioned so that when the top board closes (as shown on the right) and sufficient weight is applied, the button depresses, closing the circuit and sending power to the connected item. The springs or rubber grommets need to be strong enough to keep the upper board off the button when nothing is on it, yet compressible enough to push down on the button when someone in self-bondage places their weight upon it. This would work for men who have seen the “Standing Predicament” scenario on the site but lack a cock cage or other method to secure their privates upward toward the ceiling, effectively replacing the crotch rope that women use. It requires them to step off those blocks down onto this device, triggering whatever item is wired to the switch. Females who prefer not to use a crotch rope can also benefit from it as another way to create discomfort. Also note that a “push-to-break” switch—which cuts power when pressed—could be used here to STOP an activity when the self-bondage practitioner steps down onto the board. You could use a “push-to-make” switch to turn ON something painful or unpleasant upon stepping down, or a “push-to-break” switch to turn OFF something pleasurable. Or both… for example, a “push-to-break” wired to a vibrator allows pleasure while standing on the blocks; then when tired and stepping onto the board triggers the “push-to-make”, which activates something painful. WOW… My only issue is this: I don’t own any kind of TENS unit, and I can’t think of what good item to connect to a “push-to-make” switch. In other words, what common household or easily found thing could be wired into the switch to cause discomfort when I step onto the board? Questions, comments, and ideas are welcome! BTW it is obvious that I did not follow the instructions correctly regarding the ImageShack image. Any advice on how to do this properly would be appreciated!
