Extended trial ahead of the wedding

My fiancée has chosen to put me through a challenge before our wedding next year. She wants me kept locked up as much as she can (which I love) since it will form part of our vows. This morning, after an overnight release, she re-applied my CB3k and let me know that the first time it comes off will be on January 1st, 2012—just 34 days from now.

This is all preparation for what she calls ‘the next step’, because every subsequent lock-up period will stretch longer than the previous one. We plan to visit Neosteel next year so I can get measured for a new full steel belt; she has promised that once we have it, there’ll be a couple of months where I adjust before our locking time is ‘seriously increased’.

She’s quite determined, so I know asking for an early release would be pointless, but I’m genuinely looking forward to the challenge. All I can say is New Year’s Day will be very happy:-)
