Devious Ballet 1025 Heels and Sizing Discussion

Hello everyone, I picked up a pair of Domina 431 heels recently, which are advertised as having 6” heels. Walking in them is challenging, but I’m keen to give ballet heels a go. I’ve done some research and am considering purchasing the Devious Ballet 1025s. Could anyone share advice on these? The Domina pairs I got are European size 42 (which corresponds to US size 12, though that conversion suggests they might be slightly larger than my usual fit). This seems accurate since the shoes run a bit big for me, but it’s workable. However, buying ballet heels means spending more money, so I want to get it right this time. I dislike having to return items, so any guidance would be appreciated. Also, is leather better than ‘faux’ leather? Feel free to suggest other options as well. Thank you! Best, p.s.
