I’ve been into bondage for over four decades, mostly focusing on “sensual bondage.” For thirty years, my wife and I shared a rhythm of “tie and tease,” with us taking turns being tied up. I’ve discovered that getting bound is an excellent way to unwind.
Sadly, my wife died about six years back, and since then I haven’t met someone new, so I’ve settled into doing self-bondage on my own. Actually, this isn’t entirely new for me—I first started experimenting with self-bondage around 1968 when I was in high school. Even after marrying my wife, I continued practicing it alongside our shared sessions.
Because of the nature of my career, I have to be quite cautious about how much of my private life appears on social media and forums where colleagues might see it. Some folks view these activities as unusual. That caution is why I’ve been a silent observer rather than an active poster until now; but that’s going to shift.
As I get closer to retirement age and realize there’s just me left to consider, my worries about how this affects my professional reputation are fading. I’m looking forward to participating more actively in the forum from here on out.
