what looks best with bow-themed knee-highs?

I want to wear a nice outfit featuring thigh-high stockings with a bow. I was thinking of pairing it with a corset, but what should go over that? Should I choose a mini-skirt so the bow is visible, or opt for longer bottoms like pants or an extended skirt?
