Updated Kitty Raver Girl with Fuzzy Leg Covers and Tail

i decided to try and craft my own fuzzy raver girl legs. since raver girls are usually petite, it’s a bit of a challenge for me as I’m taller.

materials required:

• two yards of fluffy fabric.
• strong thread on a spool.
• elastic banding.
• sewing machine.

three measurements needed: m1) the leg circumference just under the knee. (mine is 15in) m2) the widest part of your heels, accounting for those you’ll wear with them. (mine is 23in) m3) the vertical distance from that first measurement below the knee down to the floor while wearing the heels. (mine is 25in)

the heel circumference should be larger than the one under the knee so the shape widens gradually toward the bottom. take m1 and add 1”, do the same for m2, but add 3” to m3. this extra room provides padding for seams and allows you to draft the pattern on the fabric reverse side. Image which, when cut out, look like this. Image when sewing them, start by stitching the top and bottom edges. fold these down an inch and a half and sew again to create clean finishes; this leaves a pocket in the upper fold for threading your elastic. fold the pieces in half with the fuzzy side facing inward and stitch straight down along the edge.
