Knot Similar to a Ratchet for One-Way Tension

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a knot that works just like a ratchet, allowing tension in only one direction. When you pull on the end of the rope, it acts like a slipknot, tightening up more and more. However, if pulled from the other side, it locks securely and won’t come undone.

But I haven’t used one yet, and given that they are made of polished metal, my expectations aren’t very high.

The purpose is to pull me further away from a tied-up wedgie, increasing the pain as I tug on the rope—for those curious about the reasoning behind it.

If anyone knows better knots or has experience with this specific one, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
