Posting Images

I wanted to include a photo in my post, so I followed the guidance on the FAQ and uploaded it to ImageShack.us. The image displays correctly when I paste the link directly into my browser’s address bar. However, when I place the URL inside “ tags for the post itself, it doesn’t appear during previewing. Could someone tell me what mistake I’m making? Any suggestions are appreciated.
