Initial Bondage Setup Inquiry from a Beginner

Hey all. I’ve just wrapped up the semester at school, and with a summer job still on its way, I have plenty of free time to spare. This is my first real foray into bondage—whether it’s self-bondage or another form—and I’m hunting for something straightforward and budget-friendly that fits within an hour or two during the evenings.

I live alone, so privacy is key; I don’t want anything public-facing right now. Since I reside in an apartment, I can’t mount things to ceilings, walls, or floors.

Regarding gear: I own a pair of safety handcuffs (the emergency-release lever is there, though I’m currently unsure where the key has gone), four small padlocks that are all keyed alike with two keys provided, and a collection of D-rings plus other hardware. My stash includes shoelaces and ropes ranging from 5 to about 20 feet in length across various thicknesses. Plus, having access to quite a few tools means I could fabricate something if the cost isn’t too steep and it can be easily hidden or taken apart.

I’m male, but my crossdressing wardrobe has grown significantly over time. It includes breastforms and covers everything from denim miniskirts with tight t-shirts to more formal pencil skirts paired with blouses and high heels. I also own around 15–20 pairs of earrings. My toy collection features a string of anal beads, a vibrator, a Fleshlight, a dildo with balls, and a butt plug that fits just barely.

What are your recommendations? EDIT: To clarify, I’m aiming for something quite tame and fundamental. Essentially, I want to test the waters and see how it feels.
