Nighttime bondage causing a sweat attack

Hey everyone, Right now I’m dealing with a rather odd issue. Normally, I sleep wearing leather cuffs on my ankles and wrists; the ankle ones are secured together, while the wrist ones are usually just attached to me but occasionally linked up too. This setup works perfectly fine for me. However, during the last two nights, about an hour in, I’d get hit with intense sweating. To stop it, I have to unfasten and remove the cuffs entirely. My body gets shaky and drenched, which makes fiddling with those tiny locks quite difficult. Has anyone else dealt with this? Could it be the rising heat as spring turns into summer?
