Gummy Bear Encasement and Rat Glue Traps

I’ve long been curious about trying one of these, but I’m unsure which type. I’ve watched YouTube clips showing people trapped in rat glue and others encased in melted gummy bears. Rat glue seems like it would hold firm, but what about the gummy bears? Has anyone experimented with this, and which method is more restrictive?
