Hosiery, Tights, and More

I’ve been encouraging my wife to wear hose more often when she’s in skirts and dresses, except during the summer months. I told her that at work, it looks polished, smooths out the legs, adds definition, and generally makes a nice pair of legs look even better. Her response was that no women really wear hose these days; she only wants to put them on for sex.

I’ve sat through several business classes taught by female instructors. Every time, they strongly recommend that women in the course should be wearing hosiery in professional settings. As I told my wife, legs clad in hose will draw attention even with a modest knee-length skirt. Honestly, I want her to be noticed. Even though she’s a plus-sized gal, I find her beautiful.

As someone who Cross-Dresses (CD), I love wearing hose myself—they make my legs look fantastic—and they really do make her legs look wonderful too. It’s unfortunate that many American women avoid them, claiming they aren’t stylish or are uncomfortable, etc. In my experience, not buying the right size usually leads to excessive yanking and pulling up.

Any other thoughts? I’m just a bit tired of the fashion nonsense in this country.
