Hi, My wife and I have been together for seven years, and bondage has been a passion of mine for ages. While I’ve always appreciated the concept of SM, I never dove too deeply into it before. Now, with my wife, I really want to start doing some sessions.
That said: about two years into our relationship, I brought mild bondage into our sex life. We used to have a small session roughly once a month. It was wonderful at the beginning, but after a year, one time when I had been drinking a bit too much, I went overboard and kind of hogtied her down:twisted::whip:. She made it clear she wasn’t fond of that intensity, and since then we haven’t really done any bondage… well, except for me!:D I’ve suggested it several times, but she is usually “too tired” or just not in the mood… So I thought she had lost interest.
Last week my wife was working from home (which happens to be where I always am), and I went up to her and said I wanted to tie her down on the kitchen table, rub her with massage oils, and take her. She looked at me, considered it for a moment, then said she would rather be bound to the bed… We had an ABSOLUTELY wonderful time. Afterward we chatted a bit and agreed that we’d do this again soon and switch roles (I hope this Friday:) ).
It’s nice and all. If things go well for another few times, I want to introduce her to the SM side as well. I really want to get it right. So I’m planning to give her a book on the subject.
Questions: How did you bring your vanilla partner into BDSM? What would be the best book if I choose the book approach? I’m looking at The Mistress Manual: The Good Girl’s Guide to Female Dominance by miss Lorelei. It looks really good, although the title feels a bit intimidating perhaps, and it is written for femdom. Which works fine for me… but I’m not sure she has enough creativity or self-confidence to take on such a role. Well, it probably covers all aspects of bondage and SM anyway.
What do you think? Thanks for any input!
