Coming Out of the Closet as a Self-Binder / Connecting with Others

Alright, that might not have been the perfect title to pick, but I couldn’t come up with a better way to phrase it. I like to see myself as “Curious Vanilla” rather than an extreme self-binding enthusiast. So I was wondering: how do you let people know you’re into self-bondage or the BDSM lifestyle? How do you bring it up with a potential partner, boyfriend, or wife? I imagine it requires quite a bit of bravery and even more:oops: (embarrassment). And what about handling their response afterward? Once that hurdle is cleared, I assume life gets much easier. But wow, crossing that initial threshold feels like such a big deal!!!!
