Who selects the outfit?

As a relatively new Dom in this dynamic, should I allow my crossdressing sub to choose his feminine clothes or dictate what he wears? When I first found him, he was wearing my things, but now I’ve purchased him a corset, various styles of panties, and a garter belt. We don’t always dress up for our sessions together, nor do we often go out in public except on rare occasions.
