"RoomBa" and Other Release Devices

Here’s a concept I thought of while watching my sister’s Roomba… If you aren’t familiar, it is a compact ‘robot’ appliance designed to clean your carpets and hard floors… It navigates around the room cleaning up dirt. When it bumps into an obstacle, it retreats slightly, rotates, and continues its path… So here goes… First, attach your release key securely to the Roomba, then let it go… Lie on the floor where you are ‘somewhat’ mobile… for instance, hog-tied… A blindfold helps maintain suspense so you never quite know where the robot is. It does make some noise though, which allows you to always hear its general location… The device will bump into you a few times; the challenge is: can you grab it when it is close enough to retrieve your key before it drives off again??? A little warning now: it can get stuck in corners. Also ensure it doesn’t run out of battery power before you manage to get your key…:shock: If there were a way to delay its launch, your “play time” could be extended… Additionally, if you have multiple units available, assign each one to carry different release keys…
