There are two ways to pull off this dare. Locate a set of railroad tracks and find a secure spot nearby. Get familiar with the train schedule. Take a small light chain lock along with its key, placing it on the track (ensuring the key isn’t left behind). At your chosen time, bind yourself in the woods just beside the rails and wait for an approaching train to shear through the key ring. DO A TEST RUN TO MAKE SURE THE TRAIN WILL CUT THE CHAIN YOU CHOOSE TO USE. Alternatively, I’ve done this using a bridge over a creek: I took a chain, locked it onto the tracks on the bridge, slipped underneath with the loop around my neck and hands secured behind me. After roughly an hour, the train sliced through the link, leaving me to start my long walk home.
