Crossdressers Compared to Ladyboys

Alright, before you keep reading, let me make one thing clear: I’m just curious. Honestly and openly so. Please forgive me if the word ‘Ladyboy’ makes you bristle; it’s really the only term that comes to mind for me, and I believe most people use it anyway.

With that settled here is my question… Is there a real distinction between a crossdresser and a ladyboy? Or are ladyboys just part of that same fetish or lifestyle spectrum, sitting at the very extreme, hardcore end?

Also, is it okay for me to feel attracted to either a crossdressing man or a ladyboy as a ‘heterosexual’ male? How do you get past the hurdle of being honest about who you are with someone who falls in love with you? And what if you are the one falling for them and discover they aren’t actually a woman?

I’m asking this because I watched a TV documentary on Transvestites, Crossdressers, and Ladyboys. To be truthful, I am not gay, but some of those folks really turned me on—they looked so lovely.

Sorry if this post sounds a bit all over the place; I hope it makes sense. It’s been something I’ve wanted to ask for ages, and the forum feels like my only real chance. If I asked you guys in person, I reckon I’d get hit in the face! But please don’t take offense—I genuinely want to discuss this properly.
