driving in a maid's outfit

I just went for a drive wearing my maid’s uniform, which wasn’t quite the full rule-bound look but was close enough. I had been sitting on the stairs watching Die Hard, fully dressed in my uniform with a dressing gown over it when the idea hit me. I walked out to the car still wearing tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt layered over the outfit. Once inside, I shed the male clothing, started the engine, and cruised around the local streets for about half an hour. Aside from pulling alongside one other vehicle once, it was great fun so far. Back home, I parked on the drive and decided to take a risk by running into the house without knowing where everyone else was. Fortunately, no one was in the kitchen when I rushed through. Now I’m back in the living room watching Die Hard again, wearing my dressing gown and sipping a nice Pinot Grigio. The only downside was having to drive in those ugly male sandals instead of heels; it’s just impossible to drive comfortably in 5” heels.
