Hello everyone! I’ve been a regular visitor here for quite some time, picking up plenty of inspiration from this site for my own self-bondage practices.
My practical experience is somewhat limited. Like many others, I got into bondage before fully understanding the concept. Each and every one of my earlier self-bondage ‘adventures’ was an easy escape scenario, more enjoyable because of my active imagination than due to any expert binding skills on my part.
Actually, there’s only one instance where I recall being truly helpless, with a bit of assistance from my sister. It felt like a test run, so she released me after about five minutes.
Now, several years later, I want to experience what it feels like to be completely, really REALLY helpless. Admittedly, I’ve never quite had the nerve to purchase high-quality tools for a proper self-bondage session. Living alone gives me ample space for this, and although a friend nearby is aware of my sessions, she prefers not to get involved directly. Fortunately, she has offered to be my safety net, which is reassuring.
Earlier this week, I was browsing the Like Ra website and discovered a method that even someone with my limited resources could manage. Today, I decided to give it a try.
It seems perfect for me! Since this marks my first real attempt at helplessness, I wanted to keep things simple. I used the method shown above, tying the ring to a radiator. The bag was secured to the rope around my legs. Then, using handcuffs (the only true bondage tool I own besides rope), I locked my hands behind my back. I made sure to leave the keys about two meters away, just out of reach as long as the bag remained stuck through the ring.
I positioned myself lying under a table, which drastically restricted my movement and would make it difficult for me to crawl back to the radiator to untie the ring.
At first, everything was great. However, I found boredom setting in much faster than expected, which surprised me…
Now, I’ll admit, mine are cheap handcuffs… And this experience proved that point. While struggling and rolling onto my side, the cuffs began tightening up. They have locks designed to prevent this, but they slip open too easily. Plus, since I was getting warm from exerting myself, my wrists swelled slightly. In short: the cuffs started hurting. Knowing I had a couple more hours ahead of me due to my enthusiasm for the ice in the bag, and wanting out immediately, I began crawling back toward the radiator—the very thing I tried to avoid by lying under the table.
It was difficult because it was such a low, narrow table. I couldn’t lift my back enough or pull myself along the rope around my legs effectively since there wasn’t sufficient room under the table for me to bend my knees.
So, after about fifteen minutes of effort, I managed to untie the ring, which allowed me to crawl toward the keys (circling around the table this time…) and free myself.
My wrists were sore for an hour or so but are fine now.
The fact that escape was still possible was slightly disappointing, but then again, if it hadn’t been, I would have endured much more pain.
So, my next mission is to acquire some quality handcuffs, likely leather ones or something similar.
Then, I’ll probably attempt this again, but this time with my legs tied to the radiator on one side of the room and my hands secured above my head at the other end. The release mechanism will be conveniently out of reach. This way, there’s nowhere for me to crawl toward at all. Additionally, I’d like to find something to keep occupied while bound so I don’t get bored. Struggling is fun, but it gets old quickly…
Anyway, I just wanted to share my first serious attempt here; hope I haven’t bored you too much!;)
