Curious inquiry regarding cross-dressing apparel purchases

May I ask a personal question to all the cross-dressers here: how do you handle the mental side of entering a store, grabbing “women’s” garments, and asking to try them on? Or what happens when you head to the fitting rooms and face judgment from the staff? Also, has anyone experienced either negative or equally positive incidents?

Do you feel judged, or are some shops more welcoming to shoppers who mix genders in their attire. Just a curious inquiry from a naturally curious soul. Apologies if I cause any indirect offense; it wasn’t on purpose. I am simply eager to know. Please share your thoughts.
