Just found today some nice software:
The way it works is this: You need a combination lock that allows you to reset the code. You set the new combo behind your back (or in a manner where you can’t see the digits). Then, take a photo of the locked dial with a digital camera so the numbers remain hidden. Upload the picture to your computer. You can verify it looks good by viewing the small thumbnail; this lets you check image quality without revealing the code. The timelock software encrypts the file. You choose how long the encryption lasts, plus options like hiding the countdown timer or using random durations. When time runs out, the photo decrypts automatically. View it full screen to read the combination on your physical lock and release yourself. I bought two locks and downloaded the app. I’ll test it this weekend and report back.
