Duo balls query

I was considering creating a set of Duo balls similar to the ones at and I’m curious about how many extra beads could be added.

I have six 1-inch diameter beads available for this project, and I’d like to use three or four of them. I also have two yards of leather cord on hand, so that shouldn’t be an issue.
