Should I attend the festival or the BDSM event?

I picked up tickets for a Latin Music festival happening in a couple of weeks, spanning two nights over the weekend. Meanwhile, I found out there’s a BDSM play party nearby that really appeals to me.

The problem is I can’t be in two places at once (no public transport and taxis are ridiculously pricey here). It’s frustrating because it would have been the perfect excuse; since I still live with my parents, I don’t want them finding out about this side of my life.

I’m going one night with a couple of friends—one who has her car—and solo on the other evening (unfortunately for me…). I could let the group know now that I won’t be joining or will go with someone else, and then tell my parents I’m heading out with them. However, half-truths and secrets tend to catch up with you eventually. Plus, it doesn’t fix the transport issue since both venues are far from home.

Logic tells me “go to the festival”… but my hormones whisper “go to the BDSM night”…

I know I need to decide for myself, but I’d love your thoughts.
