Timed Magnetic Key Release for Under $5

With those magnetic key release concepts in mind, this approach should definitely work.:lol:

Grab a standard screwdriver, about three feet of speaker wire, and a AAA battery. Wrap the stripped ends of the speaker wire around the handle of the screwdriver to form a spiral coil. Connect the two loose ends to the terminals of the AAA battery. This creates enough magnetism in the tip to hold onto the key securely. If it’s not strong enough, try using a larger or different type of battery:D I plan to test this out tomorrow with various battery sizes and will report back after a week:roll:
