Should I go through with it?

Hi there An internet friend of mine, whom I must admit we’ve never met in person, has asked if she could meet up with me someday for a “girly” day. She wants to take me out shopping and buying some outfits, then bring them back to her place so we can try them on before heading off to a gay club since “it’ll be safe there” I’m quite tempted by the whole idea. I just need your thoughts. To clarify things — I’ve never worn my outfit in public yet, but it gets me excited. It would definitely make me nervous and self-conscious about what others think, especially if my family found out — that scenario would be terrible! I suppose I haven’t fully convinced myself of the idea yet either. Do you reckon I should just “screw” caution and go enjoy a fun day? See how it feels? Or keep it as a fantasy for now in case reality doesn’t match up with my hopes? Has anyone else been through something similar? I’d love to read your thoughts:)
