**I purchased a DD belt as an intermediate step before upgrading to Neosteel. I’m pleased with it so far, even considering the delivery issues. It feels completely different from moving from a CB3000 to a full belt. A week in, problems began showing up.
- The rubber lining of the cup - Mid-day and suddenly I felt the edge digging into me. I rushed to the bathroom and discovered the rubber had detached; the sharp metal rim left several marks on my crotch. Without having the key handy, all I could do was stuff tissue paper between the cup and my skin to prevent more injury. My fix was applying extra glue to reattach it.
- Belt’s inner lining - Started peeling during week two. Moisture got trapped between the clear layer and the metal belt, giving it a molded appearance.
- Rusting - This happened in week three. I used tissue paper to soak up excess urine at the tube end, only to find the tissue soaked through with brownish rust when I removed the belt. Rust was evident on the chains, where the cup meets the crotch strap, both ends of that strap, and worst of all, the screws.
- TOTAL falling apart - When I took off my Neosteel for cleaning this weekend, I put on the DD to compare them side-by-side. After tightening everything up and rising from lying down, a click echoed inside the cup as the tube slipped out, leaving my penis halfway in it. Removing the belt revealed that the plate holding the tube had detached because the connecting nails were broken.
- Customer Service - The company rarely responds to defect inquiries. Plus, I paid for express shipping but received standard snail mail delivery. I emailed them about being overcharged for postage and never heard back again. Paying $200 for a belt with such short lifespan isn’t good value in my view. Three years ago, I spent the same on a plastic Cb3000 which remains in excellent condition strapped to my partner despite countless washes. ** Image Image
