Crossdressing dilemma

Crossdressing dilemma … not the most obvious topic, but I couldn’t think of a better one. After lurking for way too long, I finally signed up, so hopefully this is the right place. Here’s the question that’s been bothering me: You’re all dressed up and out in public, needing to use a gender-specific facility … let’s say restrooms or locker rooms. You’ve put effort into looking as passable as possible, but it might not be flawless. Do you enter the women’s room and hope no one shouts “Hey, you’re a guy, scram!” (or worse, calls security)? Or do you head to the men’s room, risking some hassle for potentially being told off because you look like a woman? Does that make sense?
